In 2012, Francine began her journey of fine art photography looking through a macro lens. Using subjects that were easily accessible from her surrounding environment, she quickly became fascinated by the natural shapes and structures within this organic world.
The organic structure repeats itself.
The magic of the macro lens allow us to enhance our perception to our very core, sparking subtle emotions and enables projections of one’s universe.
“In one instance, a flower would look like a bird, a leek like a piece of silk, or an egg yolk would bring you into the universe”
Discovering a pattern, suggesting the path of the blood stream on the hand, the water of a delta rushing to the ocean, the veins on a leave, or a circle expanding as life grows…life!
It is life itself that gave Francine the very foundation of her work.
