Elisa Guerra was born in Monterrey Nuevo León, Mexico.
The taste for art began at the age of 6, her grandmother was a key piece for her good taste in music and reading; She studied (piano) and over time her inclination was towards animals, where she began her career as a Veterinary Zootechnist.
In January 2014, her life would suddenly change as she began taking pictures with a cell phone to enter them into the first book of her author called "I speak to you".
An unexpected trip took Elisa to her real beginning in photography, her husband seeing the emotion and dedication in each shot, decided to give her first camera.
Elisa, being self-taught, loved to photograph landscapes, and one week after she started with the camera, she participated in a National Geographic contest, to which she sent 3 photographs. More than 6,000 photographers participated in the competition and almost 10,000 photographs were submitted. Elisa was surprised and speechless, when 2 of her photographs were confirmed as finalists in the contest.
Elisa was a landscape photographer for 5 years, then decided to complement the landscapes with people. This created a boom among the photographers for innovation, allowing her to gradually resume the world of art with interpretations, and to become an outstanding artistic photographer.
Art critics have compared her work to some of the great characters throughout the history of photography. A German art curator once praised her for having "a brilliant artistic mind".
In a talent that leaves a mark on each work, which can be fully identifiable in trying to feel that wants to convey.
Each art impression of its authorship offers a free will of interpretation, where it reflects part of its’ life and history, as well as emotions and feelings that point its’ eyes towards the world and situations that happen to us personally.
